Ste’s Cockpit Design
Here is what I have planned. My cockpit should look like this, with this design. All inspiration has been taken from Steven Jones, who designed the original Sim Cockpit. Luckily for myself and Mike, Steven thankfully provided dimensions for everything as well. I’ve made a few changes from Steven’s design, including the headrest and a different livery. I will also try to get the wheel inside the cockpit, rather than outside of it. Click the image above to see in Full-Res.

Yay! A comment! Your wheel base looks very nice, is it all plastic? Or are the handles Rubber?

Wow! Do you want to sell it to me? If you can get it to fit onto a G25 with quick release I will buy it for £200.

Well, you see, this wheel was intended for myself, but i showed progress pictures and plans to my league friends (www.f1-croteam.net) and one of them decided to buy it. So it’s for my friend, but actually I got few more offers. Buidling pace is very slow, and only materials, display and controls electronics are around 190 $. If I would build another one and sell it I wouldnt go lower than, maybe, 400 €, it’s just to much work, and i want it to be perfect.
